Raise the Handle to Suitable Level
Before opening the top of the offset umbrella, you need to unlock the ergonomic handle, lift it to a triple-reinforced lock arm to lock automatically, and lock the handle to do two protection. There are two screws on the connection point of the upper and lower rods to make it more solid. This increases support in high wind conditions and minimizes the risk of bending or breaking. For the best installation, tighten these two screws before opening the canopy.

The canopy can be opened effortlessly with the advanced ergonomic PA66 crank system. Eight lengthy ribs made of high-quality iron that can be opened and closed easily. The professionally crafted metal frame is sealed with a thick coating of antioxidants to prevent corrosion and rust. With an updated top joint, hinge, and handle to help withstand more weight and wind.
Velcro Strap to Reduce Swaying
To keep the canopy in the right position, we installed a Velcro strap to secure the canopy to the pole. To increase the support strength, our main pole is 25% thicker than the average level. This will help stabilize the canopy in the event of excessive wind.

I needed shade for my 5 cats,all other umbrellas were either too small or flimsy this one is 10 ft across strong ,easy to keep clean and enough shade for all 5 cats.Only need this one umbrella to shade entire deck,Love it,so do my cats,thank you for such a great product🥰
We have purchased two in the last year to shelter us from the Texas heat. Easy to assemble and lower when storms come through! If we need another one we will go back to this product.
This will be our third offset umbrella. One ended up in the trash after the fabric fell apart and another (from Ikea) was given away out of utter frustration at the mechanism for opening and closing it.This umbrella from Viney is absolutely brilliant. I love the simplicity of the mechanism for lifting it up and locking it into place. The fabric seems thick and the design is absolutely brilliant with the cap piece at the center of the spokes sliding perfectly into place when you open it. Each spoke has a velcro holder from which you could hang lights or paper lanterns for those special events.You very definitely need a heavy base to hold this big boy in place and I have one ordered and on the way. Normally I set the base over the cross base and then set large plant pots on top as well to give it as much weight as possible. Using the velcro to tie the umbrella in the closed position is crucial because strong winds will flip it.Assembly of the umbrella could easily be done alone but it does require some muscle to lift up the preassembled umbrella portion and insert it into the cross base. The cross base does have three pieces that you need to screw into place but the fact that the entire umbrella portion and winch comes pre assembled, this only take a few minutes to do.All in all, I am really very impressed with the design and quality of this umbrella.
The umbrellas are well-made. The color is beautiful. They operate smoothly. They feel sturdy and the shade provided is dark even in Las Vegas summer sun.
Assembly was easy and the umbrella is very sturdy. We love spending time in our yard and the umbrella provides ample shade on our hot summer days. Extremely happy with this purchase!
