I purchased this to replace an umbrella that was destroyed in a hurricane.It seems like it will hold up but it is also easy to take down if the need arises.very attractive and works well on our back patio.

Very pleased with the LE CONTE METZ 10 ft. Offset Hanging Patio Umbrella. Prompt delivery, easy assembly, easy to put up and down and fits out 10x10 deck perfectly with a very small footprint.. Compared to our previous 4 legged angled side shade it is way more flexible. We can sit in the sun for breakfast and open it for lunch in the shade at noon.
I've never owned an offset umbrella, but I had the perfect spot for one- my small 8x10 wooden deck. I mounted it directly to the planks with large wood screws, and it works great. So far I am very pleased with the device. It was not difficult to assemble (I did it by myself), and I was happy to pull up a chair under it's shade and relax. : )
